Juan Bosch Birth Prize
As a recognition of the work of women and men who express the permanence and continuity of the values of service, social commitment, rights and human dignity embodied by Juan Bosch, the Foundation that bears his name will present the “Juan Bosch Birth Award”.
The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 17, at 6 p.m., in the Juan Bosch Auditorium of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National Library, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The event is supported by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) and the Dominican National Library.
As part of the awards ceremony, an exchange will take place with the special participation of Piedad Córdoba from Colombia and Héctor Díaz Polanco from Mexico, who in their political and social work represent the validity of the ideals and struggles of Juan Bosch, 110 years after the birth of the Dominican writer, historian, educator and politician.
