Apply for full scholarships to participate in the in-person workshops
As part of 40-50-50: Memories, Human Rights and Democracy, CLACSO and the Floreal Gorini Cultural Center of Cooperation (CCC) are organizing the “Social Dialogues 40 years after the democratic recovery in Argentina” to be held on Tuesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 22 at the CCC headquarters, Corrientes Avenue 1543, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
With the aim of encouraging and expanding participation, the call for applications opens on Thursday. 30 full scholarships to participate in the face-to-face workshops that will be carried out as part of the activities.
Workshops:
Tuesday, March 21 – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Collective memories and current political struggles
- Testimony as a practice of memory and resistance
- Democracy(ies), peace(ies) and territory(ies): links, disputes and possibilities
Wednesday, March 22 – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Racism, ethnic-racial perspective and Afro-Argentine identity
- Recent history, memory policies and collective action
- Terruqueo and new forms of stigmatization and criminalization of social protest in Latin America: the Peruvian case
