For another globalization
This book presents a social theory developed by the author within the framework of critical geography, concerned with analyzing human space as always integrated into the totality of reality, thanks to its ongoing dialogue with philosophy and other social science disciplines. His conception of geographic space as a social instance and matrix of social life is used here to explain the present, recognize its limitations, and envision the future in a complex and holistic way. It is a contribution developed from the Global South to interpret and engage with the world. Its strength lies precisely in its ability to reflect on the present of Latin America, with its challenging yet simultaneously powerful and rich reality due to its diversity.
It provides theoretical and analytical elements to understand territories in motion, as well as to discuss the problems and challenges of our time.
