Care policies for gender equality in the context of the pandemic
In the context of the launch of the Comprehensive Sexual Education Program of the Secretariat of Sex and Gender Policies, of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts (National University of Rosario, Argentina), Karina Batthyány, Executive Secretary of CLACSO, was interviewed.
The discussion focused on “Care Policies for Gender Equality in the Context of the Pandemic,” and delved into the importance of developing public policies that promote a gender-sensitive approach to care. Karina Batthyány emphasized the need for Comprehensive Sexuality Education, as a public and educational policy, to promote critical analysis and action that highlight and challenge gender inequalities and gaps.
