Care and social security policies

The CLACSO Working Group on Care and Gender is part of the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS).

The Inter-American Conference on Social Security is part of the Global Care Alliance . This is a global initiative launched by the National Institute for Women of Mexico (INMUJERES) in partnership with UN Women to address the burden of care work that hinders women's economic opportunities, making an urgent appeal to governments, international organizations, civil society, the private sector, philanthropic organizations, and other strategic partners.

Within the framework of this initiative, Lourdes Jimenez Brito, a member of the aforementioned Working Group, participated in the publication and presentation of the Notebook:
