Thinking about contemporary feminisms
In the context of a new 8M, we present two key books for thinking about contemporary feminisms. A calm sea? Continuities, transformations and challenges of young feminist activism in Latin America, co-published with the Ariadna Publishing HouseIt brings together research on young feminist activism in Latin America, its mobilizations, agendas and challenges from an intersectional and decolonial perspective. As I observe the new waves: What has changed, what hasn't, and what is resisting the feminist movement's emergence in Argentine universities?, co-published with the Gino Germani Research Institute, analyzes the feminist irruption in Argentine universities between 2018 and 2025, addressing violence, gender policies, disputes and resistances that traverse the academic and political present.
At CLACSO, we reaffirm our commitment to gender equality and the production of critical knowledge, research, and debates that strengthen social justice and the expansion of women's rights in the region.
