Thinking about the future: research and development for Argentina

La Research and Development Week at the Metropolitan University for Education and Work (UMET), in its seventh edition, met under the motto “Thinking about the future: research and development for Argentina”, a meeting co-organized by UMET, CLACSO and the newspaper Página 12 that is consolidating itself as a central space for production and public debate around the great challenges of the country and the region.
This year, Research and Development Week, from September 29 to October 1It was held in a hybrid format, at the UMET headquarters, Sarmiento Street 2037, City of Buenos Aires.






Over its three days, the University became an open space for exchange and collective construction of knowledge, through:
-Thematic tables and debate panels with researchers, teachers, students and union and social leaders.
-Presentation of projects and research results developed at the University.
-Master lectures and conferences with national and international specialists.
This year's event included in-person, virtual, and hybrid activities, ensuring broad participation from the academic, labor, and social communities. All activities were free and open to the public.
