Within the framework of the Horizons of Critical and Transformative Thought series , this activity invites reflection on the contributions of feminist thought and action to building alternatives to the multiple crises facing our societies. The meeting will address topics such as the defense of peace against interventionism and war, threats to democracies and rights, economies for life, work, and social reproduction, just ecosocial transitions, and the challenges posed by new technologies and artificial intelligence as axes of power. From a critical Latin American perspective, the aim is to strengthen dialogue and the development of transformative proposals for the region.
The meeting focused on reflecting on and building critical proposals from a Latin American perspective on the following topics:
✅ Resist interventionism and war, build peace.
✅ Democracies under siege; defending rights and the common good.
✅ Economies for life: a productive-reproductive matrix that confronts predatory capitalism.
✅Work, inequalities and social reproduction.
✅ Climate crisis and just eco-social transitions.
✅ Technology and artificial intelligence as new axes of power.
