 Pandemic: differentiated impacts on ethnic communities

As the second installment of the course organized by the Department of Political Science of the National University of Colombia: “Post-Covid Era or a New Normal. An Analysis from Political Science,” a panel was convened on Friday, September 18, to address the problem of differentiated impacts on ethnic communities during the pandemic.



The following discussions will cover:

-Climate crisis – energy transition: are we at a point of no return? Why is the energy transition more necessary than ever? (October 2) 

-The role of the peasantry in the midst of the crisis. Turning our gaze to the countryside: bets on food sovereignty (October 9) 

-Power relations: between citizen control practices and solidarity to face the crisis (October 16) 

-Prison policy, an institutional crisis (October 30)
