Our America in the face of the Monroe Doctrine
This work, a new volume in the Temas collection, co-published with Batalla de Ideas, proposes a reflection, from the perspective of Our America, on what to do with the doctrine that stands as one of the obstacles to the possibilities of regional emancipation. It offers a reversal of perspective, analyzing the Monroe Doctrine, how it affected us and how it affects us, and what we must do to end two centuries of subjugation to the arrogance of the United States. This text aims to be a further contribution to thinking about and building that other America that we need and desire.
