“No Trump lasts a hundred years, nor can the world tolerate him.”

As part of CLACSO's presence in Havana for the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, CLACSO TV held a one-on-one interview with Ricardo Alarcón, one of the historical leaders and former President of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba.

He spoke of the origins and beginnings of the revolutionary process that culminated in the triumph of January 1, 1959, and also of the contradictions of the United States' policy towards the Caribbean island. “They were convinced that the Cuban government was going to fall. They did everything they could. They were convinced that Cuba belonged to them.” Alarcón asserted. And, speaking of current events and the intensifying blockade, he concluded: “No Trump lasts a hundred years, nor can the world endure him.”
