Blackness, Afro-Latinities, Racisms and Resistance
Within the framework of the 9th Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences, on Thursday, June 9, in the Main Tent set up at the UNAM's Las Islas campus, the keynote dialogue " Blackness, Afro-Latinities, Racisms, and Resistances" took place with the participation of Mara Viveros Vigoya , former President of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA), National University of Colombia; Rita Segato , University of Brasília, Brazil; and Rosa Campoalegre Septien , from the Center for Psychological and Sociological Research, University of the African Diaspora, Cuba. Jenny Torres , from the Alternative City Association, Dominican Republic, introduced the event.
