Globalizing equality
The book “ Globalizing Equality – Feminist Foreign Policy from Latin America, ” co-published by CLACSO , Feminists Without Borders , and Feminist Foreign Policy , addresses the proliferation of global crises, the worsening of inequalities, and the acceleration of what appears to be a veritable arithmetic of disaster. In the face of this panorama, this collaborative work presents feminist foreign policy as a transformative strategy for globalizing equality.
Featuring diverse voices from diplomats, academics, and activists from the Global South, this volume places the feminist agenda at the heart of geopolitics and international relations, articulating recognition, redistribution, and intersectionality. From this perspective, it proposes reshaping democracy, strengthening the governance of the commons, dismantling patriarchal power structures, and advancing toward a society of care and economic, social, and environmental justice.
