Educational models in the history of Latin America

Author : Gregorio Weinberg

Presentation : Nicolás Arata, Inés Dussel, Pablo Pineau.

Educational Models, through its writing, assembles processes, actors, and events from our cultures, presenting them like grand frescoes in which history remains open and ready to be constantly explored. Liliana Weinberg expresses this clearly and eloquently: if anything resonates in Gregorio's work, it is "the capacity to formulate explanatory, but never conclusive, syntheses." Hence, we can adopt a historical perspective, appealing to the Models as traditions and, why not, as platforms for thinking about and discussing which public policies best suit the multifaceted and complex educational situations in our countries in the 21st century.
