The Ministry of Culture and CLACSO signed an agreement for the protection and dissemination of Latin American thought.

As part of the commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the Ayacucho Library (BA), on Tuesday, September 10, an agreement was signed at the José Martí House in Caracas between the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) and the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC), with the aim of strengthening the safeguarding, enhancement, and updating of the memory of Latin American and Caribbean thought.
The event was attended by the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas; the President of the Ayacucho Library, Luis Alberto Crespo; the President of the National Book Center (Cenal), Raúl Cazal; and the Executive Secretary of Clacso, Karina Batthyány.
Villegas highlighted the importance of signing this agreement, through which the ties of cooperation and development of the Social Sciences in Venezuela are strengthened, as well as the dissemination of Latin American critical thought.
