“Milei submits to Trump’s dictates even against Argentine interests”
Following the meeting between Javier Milei and Donald Trump, Comercio y Justicia spoke with Pablo Vommaro, the new executive director of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO). He analyzed the geopolitical implications of the relationship between the two leaders, the effects on relations with China, and the current political situation in Argentina. Furthermore, the PhD in Social Sciences, professor, and researcher at the University of Buenos Aires and CONICET, reflected on social disillusionment—especially among young people—and the erosion of support for the ruling party after nearly two years in office.
