The regional migration pattern in Latin America and the Caribbean is changing. Not only have the routes, strategies, and subjectivities been modified, but also the state practices used to manage the diverse movements across the region. The nine reflections in this collective work offer guidelines for rethinking the uncertain and contingent nature of the migration dynamics that are part of this new pattern. Using key interwoven terms such as subjectivities, migrant children, xenophobia, and precarious work, among others, the contributors to this work seek to contribute to politically engaged research with a transnational call for migrant justice.
