Memories and the daily construction of peace

In the framework of the International Congress: 10 Years of the Peace Agreement: Between the Signing and Reality which is taking place in Bogotá, Colombia from July 14 to 17, 2026, last Thursday the 16th, the Network of Member Centers of CLACSO Colombia It held a key meeting for critical thinking and the social reality of the region: the Working Group: "Memories and the Everyday Construction of Peace."

The event, which took place in the emblematic Virginia Gutiérrez de Pineda Auditorium of the National University in Bogotá, was consolidated as a fundamental space for dialogue, reflection and the exchange of experiences on the processes of memory and the consolidation of peace from the daily life of the territories.

As a prelude to this event, and taking advantage of the visit of Pablo VommaroThe Executive Director of CLACSO oversaw a hybrid working meeting of CLACSO Colombia's Member Centers. This exchange forum saw active participation from representatives of the local network, members of the Steering Committee, and members of the Executive Secretariat, strengthening institutional ties and collaborative work.
