Memories and Histories in the 100 Years of Social Work in Chile and Latin America
On Wednesday, November 19, the podcast “ Memories and Stories in the 100 Years of Social Work in Chile and Latin America ” was officially launched, sponsored by the Institute of Cultural and Territorial Studies, the Citizen Forum, the Latin American Council of Social Sciences, the College of Social Workers of Chile and the Cuarto Propio Publishing House.
The podcast production seeks to highlight the Centenary of the Social Work Profession in Chile and Latin America, where, through a total of 11 interviews with different Social Work professionals, a historical narrative of the profession in Chile and Latin America has been configured.
On this occasion, a panel made up of Gabriel Salazar (Historian and National History Prize winner), along with Gustavo Lema (Director of Communication and Information of CLACSO) and Sara Caro Puga (Academic of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile), framed the development of the podcast and the Centenary of the Profession historically and socially.
