Manifestos. Ethical, political, feminist and ecosocial counterpoints
This book, published in collaboration with Ateliê de Humanidades and ALAS, explores diverse programmatic expressions in the form of various movements, declarations, programs, and action plans that respond to pressing needs in critical areas demanding our attention: gender inequality and care work, the environmental crisis, problems related to the world of work and education, and the various threats to human rights and democracy, among many others. Its contributions are vital in articulating the results of academic research and the knowledge forged in the praxis of the diverse activism of Latin American and Caribbean social movements. It is in this sense that this volume, which weaves its reflections at the crossroads between theory and practice represented by manifestos, contributes to the formation of critical thinking, committed to the topics and challenges of our historical present.
