Manifesto for sociology in polarized times

At the opening of the International Sociological Association (ISA) Forum, the Manifesto for Sociology in Polarized Times was adopted . The document reaffirms the relevance of the social sciences in the face of the growing challenges confronting our societies: disinformation, polarization, denialism, the concentration of power, and multiple global crises. The manifesto calls for strengthening a rigorous, critical, public, global sociology committed to democracy, human rights, and social justice.
