Larissa Bombardi, a geographer by training, is noted as one of the most important researchers on the topic of agrotoxics and their impacts on society and territory. Their research dialogues with various areas of knowledge to respect the process of environmental devastation caused by the intensive use of agrochemicals and becomes a national and international reference. The results of our two studies contribute to the understanding of phenomena that seem to occur throughout Brazil in the areas of monocultures and applications of technological packages in the agri-food and pharmaceutical-chemical sector: worker poisoning, food contamination, the relationship with the appearance of cancers, genetic alterations and malformed births, single and water poisonings, etc.
