Lula, waiting for a true change

On Sunday, October 30, Brazilian men and women will appear at the polls to elect a new president. In front of the investigations is the candidate of PT and twice president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who has just succeeded in ending four years of authoritarian and neoliberal rule by Jair Bolsonaro.

During Sunday's election day, multiple situations of blockade, imprisonment of protesters, and impediments to access to voting centers were reported.

Lia Pinheiro Barbosa, researcher at the Faculty of Education of Crateús of the State University of Ceará, Brazil, and member of the CLACSO Steering Committee for the Region of Bolívia, Brazil and Peru, analyzes for CLACSO.tv how the last days of the election campaign are going.
