Care at the Heart of Public Decisions
El Second Latin American Congress on Feminism, Gender and Women's Human Rights: “Care at the Center of Public Decisions”The event took place in Toluca, State of Mexico, on August 25 and 26. Its objective was to create a space for academic exchange, sharing of governmental experiences and collaboration with civil society, in order to reflect on the progress and challenges of the feminist agenda in influencing public policies with a gender and human rights perspective, as well as research and projects aimed at recognizing, redistributing, and reducing care work in the State of Mexico.
In that context, on Friday the 26th, Karina Batthyány, Executive Director of CLACSO, delivered the (virtual) Master Conference “Challenges and opportunities towards the care society".
