“Care work should be recognized as work, but also as a right.”
Natalia Moreno Salamanca, Director of the District Care System at the Bogotá Women's Secretariat of the District Women's Secretariat of Colombia participated in the UN Women meeting in Buenos Aires from November 7 to 11.
In an interview with CLACSO.tv, she asserted that “care work must be recognized as work but also as a right” and recounted the experience of Ciudad Bolívar in the southern part of Bogotá where the Care Blocks operate.
