Literature, arts and activism
“Literatures, Arts and Activisms – New Articulations”, compiled by Teresa Basile, Miriam Chiani and Gloria Chicote, co-published by CLACSO with the IdIHCS, is an essential testimony of the intensity of the XI International Congress Orbis Tertius “Literatures, Arts and Activisms: New Articulations”, held on April 24, 25 and 26, 2024.
The exploration of liminal zones, borders, contagions, deviations, crossings, mutations, remnants, and extraterritorialities as contemporary forms of aesthetic politics. Multiple exchanges between diverse artistic practices or between these and technological or digital media. Artivism in relation to gender and sexual dissidence and different forms of violence, the neoliberal and colonizing order, the socio-environmental crisis, and memories; intermedial activism associated with archival practices and performances; reformulations of the fields of analysis, vocabularies, and protocols of theory and criticism.
