Feminist epistemologies do not merely describe violence; they question the very architecture of public life. They propose alternative horizons where care is a principle of political organization, where plurality is an asset and not a threat, where knowledge production serves life and not control. The democracy this book envisions—and which its studies make possible—is an expanded, insurgent, everyday democracy, capable of inhabiting the territories where academia does not always reach and capable of listening to the voices that for centuries have been excluded from the hegemonic interpretive framework.
