Launch of the “Keywords” Collection
CLACSO and UAM-Cuajimalpa jointly launch Key Words: Readings for This Century. The collection addresses a series of key concepts for interpreting our present in an accessible way and from a Latin American perspective, making the knowledge produced by the social sciences available to a non-specialized audience.
This week we present its two inaugural installments:
Latin American edition de Sebastián Rivera Mir It traces the main challenges of the publishing world based on notions such as bookstores, publishers and readers with the aim of understanding the interrelationships between culture, politics and the market in our continent.
Care policies de Karina Batthyány It proposes that we review the concept of gender, the sexual division of labor, and the role of unpaid work in capitalist societies in order to move forward together towards solving a crisis that affects society as a whole.
