The struggle of women for equality in Latin America and the Caribbean
This report is the result of a long journey, an effort to document and reflect on a process of building between a group of thirty-five women from the Maya-Achi community, originally from different municipalities in the department of Baja Verapaz in Guatemala, who are survivors of the genocide they faced between 1975 and 1986, and a collective of researchers, who from various spaces of committed academia, are trying to rethink a methodology of accompaniment on the path they are taking to achieve justice for the crimes of genocide and against humanity that the State committed against them, their bodies, families and communities.
