"The far right defends the rich, the financial system, in order to maintain its privileges."

Within the framework of the activity "Advance of the Right in the World", organized by CLACSO on March 20 in Buenos Aires, Marga Ferre, Co-President of Transform! Europe, spoke with CLACSO.tv.

Ferré asserted that the current far right “is a highly corrupt phenomenon, very much in favor of the elites; despite any popular or populist rhetoric they may employ, they defend the wealthy, the banks, the financial sector, and advocate deregulating the economy to maintain the privileges of a class that benefits precisely from this. And they do so through tools such as social media, where they share hate speech.”

Furthermore, when referring to the cooperation between right-wing organizations internationally, he pointed out that "if an extreme right-wing party emerges, there will be a foundation that will support it, there will be an international network that will give them the messages, there will be studies and companies that will dedicate themselves to doing electoral analyses in which they are terribly effective."
