Karina Batthyány: Thinking about the pandemic

A contribution from CLACSO for the understanding of the social dimensions of coronavirus

The Latin American Council of Social Sciences launched the section “Thinking about the pandemic – Social Observatory of the coronavirus” several weeks ago as a space for reflection on this unprecedented phenomenon in modern times.

In an interview with CLACSO TV, Karina Batthyány, Executive Secretary of CLACSO, explained that the contribution must take into account the social dimensions of this pandemic and its impact on everyone's daily lives. "That's why we've developed this tool, which already has many contributions from our researchers and CLACSO member centers," she added, inviting people to visit the observatory and contribute to it.
