Militant youth

 Militant youth

This new volume in the joint collection with the Gino Germani Research Institute proposes a specific approach to the uninterrupted cycle of democracy in Argentina throughout these four decades, aimed at exploring the forms of participation and commitment of the young generations that integrated into democratic life in two political cycles: 1982-1987 and 2008-2015.

This paper presents the results of rigorous research conducted by the authors within the framework of the Group for the Study of Politics and Youth (GEPoJu, IIGG-UBA). The research analyzes the agendas, activist commitments, interpretations of the current political situation, the organizations leading collective action, and the ways in which young people participate in political struggles and mobilize. These issues invite us to rethink the past and establish analytical frameworks to guide our understanding of the cycles and dynamics of political mobilization in the present.
