Course presentation:
The seminar is the product of a dialogue between multiple knowledges and experiences of knowledge building in diverse scenarios. It is a commitment to building inter- and intra-institutional, as well as national and international, synergies to promote critical and proactive analysis and reflection on Latin American realities, based on the exchange of research experiences that, through action, reveal other paths to guide actions of inquiry and study that contribute to fostering scenarios of social transformation.
In turn, the present proposal is the combined effort of various research units of the Universidad Mayor de San Simón that has managed to bring together the research experiences and vision of five prestigious university entities: AGRUCO Research Center (member of CLACSO), Center for Planning and Management (CEPLAG-Member of CLACSO), Comprehensive Program for the Rehabilitation of Historical Areas of Cochabamba (PRAHC), Center for Agricultural and Forestry Biotechnology and Nanobiotechnology (NANOBIOTECH) and the Institute of Social Sciences (INCISO), in order to envision concrete actions of transdisciplinary research and within the framework of the dialogue of knowledge.
However, the leading role will fall to the Planning and Management Center (CEPLAG), with the aim of becoming an articulating space for the development of this proposal.

Participatory methodological tools for the analysis of the situation of infancy, childhood, adolescence and women in indigenous communities.
Design of guidelines to mainstream the gender approach in the Departmental Economic Development Strategy.
Urban Mobility and Transport as a factor of Development and Inclusion.

A course consists of twelve classes, each accompanied by required readings, supplementary readings, discussion forums, and learning activities proposed by the teaching team, as well as partial submissions and a final project. The course is delivered online and asynchronously. Some instructors may propose synchronous activities. In these cases, the time and date will be agreed upon in advance between the teaching team and the students to ensure everyone's participation. To pass the seminar, students must participate in at least 80% of the discussion forums and activities proposed by the instructors, complete all scheduled partial submissions, and pass the final project.
