Socio-Urban Integration under debate
CLACSO and the Latin American University of the Peripheries Foundation, together with the Center for Socio-Urban Integration, presented the Open Chair of Social Movements “ Challenges and Opportunities for Socio-Urban Integration: Popular Movements and their Link with the State .” Wednesday, August 19, at the CLACSO Executive Headquarters.

The meeting proposed a space for dialogue and reflection on the experiences, debates and lessons learned around socio-urban integration policies in Argentina and Latin America, with special emphasis on the role of popular movements and their relationship with the State.
The activity revisited the main themes addressed in the Chair:
-Conceptual introduction to socio-urban integration
-The emergence of RENABAP and the enactment of Law 27.453
-Public management of socio-urban integration policy
-Community participation and the role of cooperatives in the popular economy
