National Institute of Agricultural Technology – Argentina
Mariano Garmendia, president
Innovation
Within the framework of the policies implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Argentina, from the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) we contribute sustainable socio-technological solutions that expand territorial development opportunities and strengthen all productive clusters.
Research and Extension
We are one of the few institutions in the world that has within its structure research and extension areas that interact jointly and in an articulated manner.

Competitiveness
According to recent estimates, the agri-food and bio-industrial system (considering the linkages and interconnections of primary production) contributes approximately 21% of Argentina's Gross Production Value. Our organization promotes value-added processing at the source to strengthen local production and identify opportunities for sustainable and competitive development.
Equity
Together with the Ministry of Social Development, we have consolidated the Prohuerta program as the leading public policy for comprehensive rural development. Currently, four million people benefit from this program. Furthermore, we work with other ministries and government agencies to strengthen equitable development strategies.
