Evaluation Report: La Salle University – Social Work

The Social Work Program at La Salle University, located in Bogotá, Colombia, voluntarily participated in the evaluation process proposed by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), known as the Latin American System of University Evaluation (SILEU). The evaluation process took place between June 2016 and April 2018, with the institutional visit occurring on March 27 and 28. Throughout the entire process, the academic and administrative community of the University and the Program under evaluation actively participated.

This report presents the key findings of the evaluation process, which are divided into a set of analytical dimensions. Each dimension is addressed based on the evaluation criteria developed by CLACSO and the principle of non-punitive, reflective dialogue with the university.

In line with this objective, the evaluation perspective guided by SILEU takes into consideration the spaces for the circulation of produced knowledge, the valorization of autonomous, own, Latin American and Caribbean practices, and the placement of reflection – self-evaluation of university institutions with goals of improvement and under the principles of permanent dialogue and non-punitive evaluation.
