III International School of Postgraduate Studies in Education

The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), the CLACSO Network of Postgraduate Studies in Education and the Center for Martí Studies (CEM) organized the III International Postgraduate School in Education from October 21 to 25 in Havana, Cuba, with the theme: “José Martí and the pedagogical alternatives in Latin America and the Caribbean. 250 years after the birth of Simón Rodríguez”.

For CLACSO TV, Pablo Imen, from Idelcoop, Cooperative Education Foundation of Argentina; Darianna Beatriz Acuña Polledo from the Martí Youth Movement of Cuba; Catalina Reyes Reyes from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile; and the Brazilian Anderson Dos Santos from the National University of La Plata in Argentina spoke.

The School, which was part of CLACSO's tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, brought together master's and doctoral students, public policy officials and representatives of civil society committed to education at different levels of the education system and beyond.
