The Ibero-American Center CIBAM of the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and the Latin American Council of Social Sciences CLACSO convene the II Symposium of the Special Group «Latin America and the Balkans: cultural and social links», which will take place on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7, 2024, in person (at the University of Novi Sad) and virtually (via the Zoom platform).
From a broad perspective, encompassing the different disciplines and areas of knowledge represented within our special group, this symposium aims to delve deeper into the topics of interest that connect Latin America and the Balkans.
The II CIBAM-CLACSO Symposium will be one of the introductory events to the 150th anniversary of the International Congress of Americanists ICA2025, which will be held in Novi Sad between June 30 and July 4, 2025.
