This document brings together the main contributions from the discussions and working groups that took place during the First Ibero-American Meeting for the Evaluation of the Quality of Higher Education in the Arts, held at the University of the Arts of Ecuador, in the city of Guayaquil, on October 30 and 31, 2019. The document is intended as a catalyst for the various stakeholders involved—from both higher education institutions and evaluation and accreditation agencies and bodies—to share their perspectives and proposes guidelines with the aim of reaching consensus that will pave the way for the construction of a comprehensive evaluation model specifically for higher education institutions and programs in the arts in the region.
