Haiti is not alone
On Friday, July 23, starting at 3:00 PM Haiti time, 15:00 PM in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil (GMT-16), CLACSO will present the special program “CLACSO x Haiti – Haiti is not alone” which aims to highlight, through interviews and testimonies, the reality of the Caribbean country that lives in constant social, health and political conflicts, aggravated by the assassination, on July 7, of President Jovenel Moïse.

Micherline Islanda Aduel
Micherline Islanda Aduel is a member of the peasant organization Tèt Kole ti Peyizan Ayisyen (United Head of Haitian Small Farmers) in Haiti. She is part of the CLACSO Working Group “States in Dispute” and ALBA Movements and is active in the Revolutionary Socialist Party RASIN KAN PÈP LA. She presents her perspective on current events in her country to CLACSO Radio, emphasizing the transnational economic interests that operate behind discredited rulers, often de facto and unrepresentative of the will of the vast majority of Haitians.
