Towards a new sociology of capitalism
This book, co-published with Friedrich Schiller University Jena, launches a new CLACSO collection, “Dialogues,” which aims to foster dialogue and cooperation between European and Latin American academia. This work seeks to progressively develop a new sociology of capitalism and social change in and from Latin America, while also enriching the discussion with German critical sociology and, in particular, with the so-called “Jena School,” whose key figures include Klaus Dörre, Stephan Lessenich, and Hartmut Rosa.
