Taranto
The partial closure of Europe's largest steel mill, due to the pollution it produces, has divided the Italian city of Taranto between those who denounce the environmental health disaster and those who fear losing their jobs. Health and employment collide in southern industrial Italy, victims of corporate greed and state neglect.
