This book examines the Zapatista movement and the neo-Zapatista networks as fundamental to the emergence and development of counter-hegemonic struggles from below and from the left, essential for the globalization of hope and the creation of alternatives to the ongoing projects of horror, death, and war. I ask: What violence? What wars? What bodies? What bodies? At the same time, from a situated and embodied knowledge, I historically explore the weaving of networks, hopes, and struggles inspired by Zapatismo.
