 Great moments from #CLACSO2022

The 9th Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences, held at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) from June 7-10, 2022, was a rich forum for debates, proposals, and presentations, making it well worth this special program on CLACSO.tv every Friday. #CLACSO2022 featured 15 participants at UNAM and 100 virtually, over 1.200 activities, 25 hours of live CLACSO.tv broadcasting, and much more.

Week after week, we relive interventions in the master dialogues, participations in the panels and interviews of those who passed through the CLACSO.tv set at the entrance of the Book Fair in the Islands of the UNAM.

This Friday, October 21th, we propose:

-One of the great masterclass dialogues of the 9th Conference was undoubtedly that of the Challenges to democracy in Latin America and the Caribbean, with the exhibitions of Brazilian politics Manuela D'Avila and Boaventura de Sousa SantosWe recall the participation of the great Portuguese intellectual from the University of Coimbra: Boaventura de Sousa Santos.

-In the Forum «Ladino America/ Our Afro-America: Legacies and Anti-Racist Horizons» he lectured Daniela López Carreto from the Casa Coyolillo Community Cultural Center in Mexico.

-For CLACSO.tv, within the framework of the 9th Conference, Ricardo Fuentes Nievas, a member of Data-Pop Alliance Mexico, spoke with Katja Hujo, research coordinator at UNRISD, the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development.
