Gramsci and the philosophy of praxis
This book, a collaboration between CLACSO and the Catholic University of Temuco, addresses the undeniable contributions of Antonio Gramsci, not only to 20th-century Marxism, but also to political thought across the broad field of social sciences and humanities. Latin American social work has incorporated various concepts from Gramscian thought—both in the analysis of its own foundations and historical trajectory, as well as in its professional training and intervention processes—which have served to interpret the complex dynamics of social and production relations within the context of contemporary capitalism.
