Gender and public policy: Rights in tension?

As part of Women's Month, on Wednesday, March 6, CLACSO convened an in-person meeting in Buenos Aires to work on Gender and public policy: Rights in tension?

The following participated in the dialogue table Karina Batthyány (Executive Director of CLACSO), Estela Díaz (Minister of Women, Gender Policies and Sexual Diversity of the province of Buenos Aires) and Veronica Gago (National University of San Martín, professor and researcher at CLACSO).

This proposal contributes to the debates and exchanges of the Platform for Social Dialogue: Rights, violence and gender equality.


Previously, Andrea Daverio y Elena Mingo The CLACSO Working Group “Gender, (in)equalities and rights in tension” coordinated a training workshop to reflect on the conditions and feasibility of defending rights and their effective exercise, based on gender equality.
