This text is the result of encounters, mobilizations of processes for the defense of life, based on recounting histories, conversations, the writing of socio-territorial theories in motion, and everyday-radical poetics from the place of enunciation of the struggles against dispossession—the war against the land, which is the same war of recolonization against the people. Reading the chapters in an intercontextual and intergenerational relationship (in genealogies of living histories) enables us to understand dramas and chance occurrences in convergence and calls us to disobey any political regime and social practice that coexists with racism, sexism, dispossession, and the normalizing and disciplined partisan versions of history that maintain complicity with the fragmentation, annihilation, and extermination of land, life, and peoples, especially brutally inflicted on the bodies of women, mothers, and young people. The plurality of organizational forms that ordinary people invent for the recovery of land, territories, their own bodies, communality, and the feeling-thinking with, among, and as part of the struggles for dignity point to small revolutions that are living and co-creating ancient worlds and realities that inhabit and reinvent presents and futures from a new narrative beyond institutional structures, from indiscipline, the de-individualization of suffering. It is particularly the communal, neighborhood, and ancestral solidarity practices of the minga and the tequio—global gatherings of all peoples, calendars, and geographies—of those who are weaving and braiding processes of co-determination in defense of life policies.
