Forum on work and care policies in Latin America

With the aim of creating a continuous, pluralistic and inclusive space for the exchange, discussion and rigorous analysis of well-being in the countries of the American continent, the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS), together with the 84 institutions of the 36 countries that make up our membership, convenes the "Work and Care Policy Forum in Latin America, 2021", to be held on April 6, 7 and 8, 2021.
The opening of the Forum, on Tuesday, April 6, was attended by the Executive Secretary of CLACSO, Karina Batthyány.
The meeting will address, over its three days, multiple facets of the care problem, divided as follows:
Keynote Address: Care Work in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Table 2. Care systems and global chains: perspectives from feminist economics.
Table 3. Motherhood, fatherhood and care in times of global pandemic.
Table 4. Towards a care system for the elderly.
Table 5. Experiences of Integrated Care Systems in Latin America.
