Academic program


• The program is a regional initiative of the Faculty of Accounting, Economics and Administrative Sciences of the University of Manizales, based on its conceptual frameworks for development and organizations, to contribute to the strengthening of critical citizens in matters of taxation, as a specific field of legal-economic knowledge in the exercise of management and control.
• Deepening this specific knowledge will enhance the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems inherent in the State's relationship with taxpayers, in the substantive and procedural dynamics of taxes, with a view to promoting best practices among entrepreneurs regarding taxation, from planning to risk mitigation.

Graduates of the program will be able to work in:
• Execution and management of specialized consulting and advisory services in tax matters for organizations from different sectors of the economy.
• Design and management of tax management programs in regional organizations.
• Lead and execute strategic tax management actions.
• Design and operate information and research systems on tax matters for decision-making processes in organizations.
• Offer advice to bodies responsible for resolving tax disputes, taking charge of or participating in reform projects, or modifications to tax systems or their administration.
• To promote and manage theoretical developments of interest to academia, from the perspective of taxation.
• To carry out teaching and research activities at the higher level related to territorial, national and international taxation.

Institutional requirements:
• Submit the duly completed registration form and the payment receipt to: Bancolombia Current Account 7055013773-7 in the name of the University of Manizales.
• Original degree certificate, resolution accrediting the original undergraduate degree or authenticated photocopy.
• Civil birth certificate.
• Photocopy of the national identity card.
• A recent photograph (passport size).
