To provide a solid theoretical, methodological and historical preparation in the field of feminist studies for the training of feminists with a solid political positioning that allows them to formulate critical analyses of the various realities of domination and discrimination towards women and people in subordinate conditions, and to know various forms and methodologies of intervention so that they become subjects of their transformation and their reality.

Specific objectives:

• To promote, from a feminist perspective, connections with organizations and civil society.
• To foster an environment of academic excellence that nurtures research and teaching, feminisms and social sciences in the region.

• Graduates of the program will have the skills, abilities, and knowledge to:
• the critical analysis of Latin American feminisms and their genealogies, in contrast to the feminisms of the Global North, as well as handling theoretical-methodological concepts and matrices that are their own while enriching them;

• the performance of political training and intervention practices in training and education centers, civil society organizations, international organizations and government institutions; and
• the dissemination of contributions and theories arising from academia in institutions and civil society to promote the path towards the transformation of reality.
